Steven Tito Academy (STA) began in 2012 with just a handful of children as a program of The Baobab Home in Bagamoyo, Tanzania. Today, STA is a thriving primary school serving 190 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. Classes are taught in English in a safe, supportive, and vibrant learning environment.

As a charity school, STA depends on the generosity of donors to continue providing exceptional education. Your support enables us to reach bright children from underprivileged families who would otherwise lack access to an English-medium education that they need to succeed in high school.

For just $65 USD per month, your sponsorship transforms a child’s life by covering:

Your sponsorship of $780 per year, or $65 per month, can easily be paid by credit card, PayPal, or check.

Once you have been matched with a student:

  • If you wish to send a photo or a letter to your sponsored student, feel free to do so by sending it via Elicia, our Office Manager, at [email protected].
