Volunteers are welcome to come to Tanzania for short- or long-term stays. We prefer that volunteers have a defined skill set like teaching, farming, building, healthcare, marketing, art, or come with the funds to do their own projects. Volunteer positions are entirely self-funded.
To apply for a general volunteer position at THE BAOBAB HOME, complete the following steps:

• Cover letter
• Resume/CV
• Estimated time of arrival/departure - If your credentials match our needs at the time, we will contact you regarding the position, what you hope to accomplish while volunteering, your budget, and what kind of housing you prefer. If necessary, we may conduct a Skype interview to better determine your fit within our organization.
- Once you have completed all of the above, we will continue to work with you planning your assignment. You can also read the Volunteer Information Package to help you prepare for your trip to Tanzania.
