HOW TO HELP FROM AFAR

The easiest way to help the Baobab home is to Spread the Word! Don’t be shy-pass on emails, newsletters, or link us to your website. Tell your students, coworkers, family and friends. We hope to raise awareness, not only of the Home, but of the impact HIV/AIDS has on children in Tanzania and all over sub Saharan Africa.

Another way to help is to conduct a fundraiser in your area. We will help! We recommend Baobab Birthday parties or Baby Showers, but check out Fundraising Ideas page for some other creative suggestions.

Make a credit card donation using Pay Pal! Just click the link below the navigation bar. It’s also easy to set up a regular donation plan that suits your budget. For instance, if you would like $38 paid monthly to the Home for one child’s formula, PayPal can charge your account automatically each month.

If you prefer to donate by check you may send to:

The Baobab Home
1309 Magnolia Lane
Branchburg, NJ 08876
U.S.A.

If you prefer to donate anonymously you may send your check to:

PO Box 44
3510 Route 22 West
Whitehouse, NJ 08888

Due to exorbitant shipping and duty costs, it is not recommended that you send anything directly to the Baobab Home. However, if you would like, you can check the Baobab Home Wish list and see if you can send any useful items to volunteers that may be coming from your home country. If you are interested, please email Terri at tzkids.org.

You can also help by doing your online shopping through iGive.com where a percentage of your purchase goes to the Baobab Home!

The Baobab Home policy is to thank donors by email, and on our web page, in order to save paper and expenses. We will however, send a formal IRS approved thank you letter for all donations over $250. This is so that we, and you, are in compliance with the IRS substantiation provisions under the omnibus reconciliation Act of 1993.

If you would like a letter acknowledging your donation made by check, please email us with your name, the date and amount. If you don’t want or need this, please let us know. If you would like this letter for an amount below $250, please let us know and we will be happy to send it.

THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS

This page is a testament to the generosity and vision of our donors and Board of Trustees. Their donations make our work here possible. Together they have helped us to improve the health of several in a very short time. They have helped us spread knowledge, reading and laughter to the kids of our village which are probably the most sustainable gifts of all.

From Caito and Terri, from the children, from the caretakers, we say ASANTENI SANA (Thank you all so much! ). Some of you have chosen to remain anonymous. In no particular order, together, you are:
